Maria Liew works in a wide range of media from oil on canvas to collage.   Her abstract oils on canvas use varying tones of colour that seem to float within the surface of the work creating a sense of movement.   In complete contrast her collage works are flight of fancy created by juxtaposing images to produce bizarre scenes that attempt to create a belief in the ridiculous and are extremely entertaining.
